It's been a while lovelies~ So I was once again chosen for a Try Me Review Me event and this time, I'm here with 4 products from a brand called Blithe! In order to learn more about Blithe, I had to look into their website since it was a completely new brand for me! If you wish to check out the brand, the website is: Blithe So.. before I got these products, I had never heard of this brand... but after using the products for about 2 weeks, I really wonder why I haven't heard of the brand! Their products were amazing! They also came up with a new concept called "Anti-Polluaging" which combined the words Pollution and Aging. So basically, they make products that will will protect the skin from pollution and from aging! Blithe has placed their products in 3 categories: 3-Step, Inbetween, and Special Care! The products I received were from their 3-step line and one of their special care line! Okay less talk, let's just get straight into the review~ So like how I wrote the review for Rovectin, I will be reviewing each item separately. This time, I'll go step by step in terms of use! The first item is the Anti-Polluaging Cleansing Water! They claim that the cleansing water removes not only makeup but also fine and yellow dusts from the skin. Usually, cleansing water won't remove eye makeup and you'd need a separate lip-and-eye but with this cleansing water, I was able to remove all makeup. The cleansing water has Himalayan Pink Salt dissolved into it and because of this, it "sucks up" the dust and makeup from your skin and pores using the osmotic pressure. (and we all know how amazing Himalayan Pink Salt is for people with sensitive and acne-prone skin!) So.. have you had this experience where you wash your face but when you apply toner with a cotton pad, it turns grey or picks up remaining dust from your face that didn't come off during the cleansing process? Well I can say that I've had this happen lots and I would always do two layers of toner, first for cleaning and second for moisture. With this cleansing water, I didn't have to do that! And this is amazing! A cleansing water that removes ALL makeup and rips off the dust? I'm all in! I love this so much that I use it even without makeup! The only downside for this is that if it gets in your eyes it does sting a little bit but that's understandable~ The second item is the Patting Splash Mask (Patting Water Pack)! What is a Patting Water Mask? Well let me tell you it was something I've never heard about! So basically it's a concentrated liquid-type mask that removes dust and dead cells by using the Korean traditional method of washing with rice water. You fill about quarter of the sink with water and pour a cap-ful of this liquid. Because it's very concentrated, you have to dilute it and they tell you the perfect ratio is about quarter-ful of water with cap-ful of liquid. They have 3 types but the one I received was the Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey that contains lemon, orange and honey extracts to clear the skin. It's got a pretty intense smell in the bottle.. like it smells like artificial lemon or something but once you dilute it, the smell fades as well. This mask is really unique and cool. It's supposed to be used as a final cleansing step. I used it at night as my last cleansing step and let me just tell you how smooth my face felt after using it! They recommend that you don't wipe your face after using and instead just let the pack dry on its own. This is because it absorbs better with a longer absorption time. But I also find that when it gets in my eyes, it does sting quite a bit and it feels like it never really washes off. It's an amazing product but I just wish it was less irritating to the eyes since that it's supposed to stay on your face as it dries. Whew. We're down 2 and another 2 to go~ Next one to review is the Vital Treatment~ So this is the essence step! Once again, they have 3 different types but the one I got is the 8 Nourishing Beans! This one contains extracts of 8 different beans including soy bean (antioxidant), lentil (moisturizing), carob (hydrating), and black bean (nourishing). It's got little capsules in the essence that breaks and releases the active ingredients. Also, apart from the bean extracts, it also contains essential oils such as olive oil, peppermint oil, and tea tree oil. It kind of smells like... when you go to a dentist and they have to make a mold of your teeth so they make you bite into this gum-like... mixture? Well it has that smell but it's not too bad. The smell fades pretty fast so it's bearable XD It's got a super light texture and absorbs very fast~ My mom also uses it with me and she likes it too! I would say the only thing I don't like is the packaging. It looks like those toner bottles where you have to flip it completely up-side-down and tap it against your palm to release the product. I wish it was a pump-type bottle! Okay last but not least is the Pressed Serum: So out of the 4 different ones, I received the Tundra Chaga. Chaga is a mushroom that lives in the tundra region and it minimizes the look of fine lines and rough skin. Other than the Chaga mushroom, there are also other extracts such as fermented olive oil (hydration), fermented argan oil (softening and hydrating), and meadowfoam seed oil (nurtures and energizes). What is a pressed serum? Well it's actually a cream-type serum but it's NOT cream! It's a rather heavy serum but it absorbs in an instant. In the morning, using the pressed serum instead of cream works out. However, at night, it is better to use cream after the pressed serum! Along with their other products, this one also has a faint smell but it's not overpowering. It makes my skin feel hydrated and soft and I didn't feel the need to use another serum or essence before or after the pressed serum but you can if you have very dry skin. It's buildable / layerable and not oily at all! So I know you're all wondering how the before and after photos look so here they are: The top photos are the before photos and the bottom are the after photos from 1 week of usage!
You can see that the overall redness has fades slightly and even with that large pimple in the after photos, the general pimple scars I have had begun to fade! So overall, I will give this brand a 9 out of 10! The only point marked off was the packaging for the essence. It's really difficult to use and my palm gets red and sore after using it... Phew that was a long review! If you made it all the way through, great for you! Leave a comment down below saying what product out of these four you'd like to try out or if you've already tried them, let me know what you think of them below! If you would like to try these products out for yourself, they do in fact have them at Sephora (some products) but they're also all on StyleKorean so I'll link individual items below!
