It's been so long since I posted a review... I'm really sorry! And I promise I'll be posting more now! This time, I'm here not with a makeup review but a skin care product! A few weeks back as I was looking through testerkorea.com, I came across this interestingly packaged ampoules. The ampoules were packed into syringes and there were 4 possible options. Testerkorea had them on sale for less than $4 so I thought why not give all four a try. So each of the four ampoules have different functions and ingredients. # 01 White Jade (Brightening) - Glutathione Extract # 02 Cinderella (Wrinkle Care) - Alpha Lipoic Acid Extract # 03 Egg Contour (Face Contouring) - PPC / Peptide Extract # 04 Water Light (Moisture) - Hyaluronic Acid Extract Being a science nerd, I decided to search up all of the fancy terms used in the descriptions. Also, the photos attached below are from the Real Beauty website and are not mine. # 01 White Jade (Brightening) - Glutathione Extract: Glutathione when used in cosmetics, according to the lovely Wikipedia, prevents oxidative damage of the skin.... Oxidative damage...? So basically, it helps retain the normal red/ox balance of the skin... But on top of that, glutathione also inhibits melanin synthesis, which directly helps in the whitening of dark and dull skin. Of course, a one-time use won't really do the trick but maybe the ampoule is concentrated enough so that when you're done using the entire syringe, you'd be left with a nicer-looking, evenly toned, lightened skin? Let's hope so! # 02 Cinderella (Wrinkle Care) - Alpha Lipoic Acid Extract: Alpha lipoic acid is one of the natural antioxidants in your body and it is both water and fat soluble. When used in cosmetics and skin care, it helps exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells, exposing the new (brighter, tighter, and fairer) skin. I wonder why it's called the Cinderella Ampoule though xD # 03 Egg Contour (Face Contouring) - PPC / Peptide Extract: I couldn't find anything specifically on PPC/Peptide. However, the use of peptides in skin care has been a very effective way to of many anti-aging products. Because a peptide or a peptide chain is smaller than a full protein, it is absorbed into the skin a lot better. Peptides in skin care tricks your skin into producing more collagen, which makes your skin look more youthful and tighter. Last but not least, # 04 Water Light (Moisture) - Hyaluronic Acid Extract: Now comes the famous Hyaluronic Acid!
Hyaluronic acid helps the skin replenish and preserve moisture. It also helps brighten your skin and revitalize your skin. Get that moisture and the glow. So far I've only used the water light ampoule but after looking into all four, I'm very convinced that it might actually work. So far, after three days of using the water light ampoule, my skin feels smoother and my driest areas of my face (around my eyes) didn't seem as dry and flaky as it used to be. If you'd like to give any of these ampoules a try, you can find them in TesterKorea. The sale is still going on so if you're lucky enough, you can get the ampoules for less than $4 so hurry on over~
