Okay okay you all may think "Wow it's been so long!"
I'm really sorry I haven't been updating as often as... well.. I've never really gotten /that/ active here have I?
I'm really really sorry! From now on I'll definitely be posting more!

So it's been ages since I did a review on sheet masks... so here I am with a pretty one!
It's the JayJun Anti Dust Therapy Mask!
With no further ado, let's get on with the review!
Picture
So my first impression with this mask...
  1. What does 'Anti Dust' even mean?
  2. What even makes it 'Anti Dust'?
  3. It's got 3 steps... Do I need to use all three at once?
  4. Does it WORK?

Well I assume many of you are probably thinking the same things as me and I'm here to answer these questions.
  1. What does 'Anti Dust' even mean?
I think they're using the phrase in two ways.
    - Anti Dust as in it cleans the dust from your face
    - Anti Dust as in it prevents dust getting stuck on your face / inside your pores

  2. What even makes it 'Anti Dust'?
The mask includes a packet of foam cleanser to help clean your face.
The cream is supposed to strengthen moisture barrier and create an even layer in which dust cannot go through.

  3. It's got 3 steps... Do I need to use all three at once?
Yes, it is recommended that you do. However, it's not "required".

    Step 1 Foam Cleanser:
    - Soft-textured cleanser that thoroughly removes air pollutants, fine dust and makeup residue on your face with tiny bubbles and supplies ample moisture to prevent dryness
    -  Active ingredient: glycerin 20%
    - Inactive ingredients: beeswax, Asian lizards tail, ginger, honeysuckle, goldenrod
    - The tiny bubbles help get into the pores and cleans it out thoroughly compared to large bubble foams.
    - Lathers on evenly and pretty thick.  It leaves your face super clean but it felt a little dry/stripping but not as much as other foam cleansers.

    Step 2 Mask:
    .- Light green, microfiber mask
    - Active ingredient: glycerin 4.03%
    - Inactive ingredients: betaine, peony extract, Asian lizards tail, centella asiatica, ginger oil, burdock, weeping forsythia, honeysuckle, sodium hyaluronate, rosemary
    - Essence is pretty thin and not as sticky.
    - Has a very herbal/fruity scent.
    - The sheet is super soft and adheres to your face very well and there was almost no sliding.
    - The mask still contained moisture after 40 minutes of application (I was watching a show while I had it on xD)

    Step 3 Cream:
    - Thick white cream (pretty chunky, heavy)
    - Active ingredient: dimethicone 3.1%
    - Inactive ingredients: cetearyl alcohol, betaine, meadowfoam, shea butter, ginger oil, Asian lizards tail, beta-glucan, goldenrod, rosemary, alcohol denatured, fragrance
    - Compared to other creams with similar consistency, this cream seemed to absorb easier/faster
    - Super hydrating

So overall, it will have the full effect if you use all three steps together.

  4. Does it WORK?
As it is with many masks, you have to use it regularly for a while to see the effect.
Also, the effectiveness varies from person to person.
With me, I saw the effect pretty much immediately.  When I woke up the next day there was no dry flakiness on my face.  My hands felt moisturized and the excess essence I put on my elbows kept my elbows from flaking/turning white-ish.
So I'll say that this one works for me.

So, where can you get one, you may ask.  I have an answer to that as well!
If you live around Japantown, SF you can get yours at Candy Doll Beauty inside the Japantown Mall.
If not, you can get it online at any of these places:
  • TesterKorea
  • StyleKorean
  • YesStyle

Well I hope you enjoyed reading through this rather long review and I hope I didn't bore you to death :(
If you're curious if this mask will work for you, why don't you give it a try?
