It's been about 4 months since I last posted a review here since most of my reviews have been on my Instagram. Today, I'm here with a review of the Dr.&Co Triple Line Products that I received through Call Me Something! Call Me Something is an online store that carries a lot of different products from different brands and through the store, I was introduced to a brand called Dr.&Co. Without further ado, let's get to the brand information and the review! About the Brand Dr.&Co: Dr.&Co is a brand that specializes in problematic skin (acne-prone, sensitive, overproduction of sebum). The line I will be reviewing is the Triple Line. The Triple Line bases itself off of the 11 years of research done through various esthetic experiments and it works with different skin types to reduce overproduction of sebum and renew moisture into the skin. Although my skin isn't acne-prone or problematic, I was excited to receive these products since my sister was staying with me and she has acne-prone skin and I have been trying to find some products to help her skin condition before she heads off to college! About Dr.&Co Triple Perfect Foaming Cleanser: Main ingredients:
The formula is very liquid-like. They call it a gel-to-foam but it's more of liquid-to-foam. Because of the watery formula, the foam when you lather isn't the cloud-like foam you'd see with other creamy or thicker foam cleansers. However, the bubbles are very small and light. The cleanser is also meant to be a one step cleanser where you wouldn't have to remove your makeup with an extra step (kind of like an oil-to-foam). For the last 2 weeks of using this cleanser, it's become me and my sister's favorite cleanser! Your skin definitely feels clean when you wash it (I like to make sure my face is nice and squeaky when I wash it rather than have a soft slimy residue). Compared to how squeaky clean my face feels, it's not as tight or dry as some oil reduction acne cleansers. It's also very easy to use since it's a pump bottle and not a tube (probably because of the light consistency). My sister and I used the cleanser day and night every day for the last 2 weeks and it definitely cleared away small bumps from our foreheads (mostly clogged pores and millet acne). I'll attach the before and after photos of our foreheads here: As you can see in the photos, the small bumpy acne from our foreheads have disappeared. Because it reduced the small bumpy acne (millet acne) from our foreheads, the texture of the skin is a lot better now than it was before. Also, the pimple I had on my forehead had calmed down. Alright let's move onto the other product! About Dr.&Co Triple Cica Spot: Main ingredients:
This spot care product helps to calm a pimple when it's formed. Because the longer the pimple stays on your skin, the more likely it is to scar, this product helps to get rid of the pimple asap. The texture is like a silky cream although it's not heavy like cream. It actually feels more like an essence. You can use the product day and night right on the pimple that had formed (at any stage of the pimple). My sister had three large mature pimples around her nose so I had her try the product. The product, when you apply it to the skin, does have a very minty cool feeling to it. Unfortunately, the pimples around her nose popped that night and couldn't really tell the effects of the product :( I told her to use it like ointment because it does have anti-bacterial extracts and so she used it as an after-care of the popped pimples. However, since the product wasn't primarily used for after care, she used it to calm the skin and put on actual ointment so it won't be inflamed. Because of the good effects of the foam cleanser, I haven't been getting any actual pimples so I can't completely testify for the spot care product but I will edit the review (or do a separate review) for the spot care once I've used it enough and seen results! Anyways~ that's it for the review and thank you all for reading this super long review!
