Hello lovelies~ I know it's been veeeery long since my last (and first) contacts review! Today, I'm here with my second contacts review! A bit ago, I was contacted by LensCircle and was asked if I could do a review for their lenses~ So I gladly accepted the offer and received 2 pairs of lenses~ So with no further ado, let's get on with the review~ LensCircle is an online store that carries Circle Lenses. Circle Lenses are contacts that are slightly larger and wider printed diameter and makes your eyes look larger creating a doll-like or innocent appearance. Circle lenses are very popular in Korea and Japan and used a lot as cosplay, makeup, and just daily lives. So basically, regular colored contacts only have the design printed to the size of an average iris. However, circle lenses have a dark ring around the outside and because of this dark ring, it enlarges the appeared size of your iris. So out of the many options, I asked for and received the World Series in blue and purple. The World Series is a 3-tone colored contacts. They came in little glass vials packaged individually. I personally prefer lenses packaged in a sleeve? Cup? the one where you peel off the cover and the lens is in a small divot in solution. The bad part of being in a vial is that the solution in the vials is usually preservative fluid and cannot use the lenses immediately. I had to leave the lenses in contacts solution for a day before wearing them. The World Series had 5 colors (Blue, Purple, Grey, Brown, and Green). The print diameter is 14.2mm which is still larger than the average 13.8mm but not as large as some circle lenses which can go up to 15.0mm. Overall, the colors are really pretty. The colors aren't too bright or obvious like some cosplay lenses (even the purple). You can see from the photos above that the contacts are pretty natural due to the 3-tone colors.
The lenses are actually pretty comfortable and it doesn't irritate my eyes or dries them out like some other lenses but are not the most comfortable lenses I've worn. The lenses also do not have much of a hula effect where the lenses don't properly sit on top of your iris. I wore the lenses through work for the entire day and I didn't feel any discomfort. These lenses are not the most comfortable lenses but there really is minimum discomfort with these lenses and I will in fact wear them again. I would rate these lenses a solid 9 out of 10! The one point is from the fact that it's packaged in glass vials because the lenses that come in those vials are generally not as comfortable and 'clean' as ones that come in packets due to preservatives. If you'd like your own set of lenses, you can get these lenses and a lot more at LensCircle!
