Forgive me for slacking on my blog T.T I've been so busy lately that I tend to post shorter reviews on my Instagram (@jenni.bear.beauty) But I'm here today with a review of my current favorite product! A little bit ago, I was given an opportunity to try out the Medicube Zero Pore Pad through a "Try Free" event through 0.8L. I've heard so many good things about it so it has been in my list to try for months and I was so happy to be able to try it out! So with no further ado, let's get on with the review~ For anyone who have even the smallest interest in Korean skincare, they probably have already heard of this product. It claims to shrink pores as well and cleaning them out. It also claims to unclog pores and what not. So I thought of this really does what it says then woah. Everyone would have tiny pores! Before talking about ingredients, I would like to show you what the pad looks like: So you can see that the two sides are actually not the same. One side is an embossed side (the bumpy side) and the other side is a smooth side. They suggest that you use the embossed side to exfoliate and clean and the smooth side to to a final sweep over. (But honestly, both sides feel the same when you use the pad) Okay let's go talk about ingredients now. What's in the product that makes it effective?? Ingredients that help with regulating excess sebum production (Step 1):
Ingredients that help with exfoliating dead skin cells (Step 2):
Ingredients that help with pore tightening (Step 3):
WOAH! That's a lot of natural ingredients in the product that help with skin. The product is essentially a 3-step program condensed into a single pad. Does it actually work? Well let's see the before and after shots of a week of use and see! I used the product twice a day (morning and night) every day for about a week.
If you flip through the pictures to the before and after photos, I don’t think you might see MUCH difference with the pore size but let me tell you, my skin does feel smoother. It really took care of my he tiny clogged pores I had between my eyebrows and my forehead and if you look closely, my pores are a slight bit smaller now. Now, the nose area is always hardest to shrink and cleanse because of blackheads but you can see from my cheeks (butterfly zone) that the pores are slightly smaller on the after photos. I will continue to use the product and update the review with my final before and after shots after I finish the bottle! Overall, I’m very much pleased with the experience! I still have a lot of pads left over but I might actually buy more and continue to use it in the future! If you're interested in trying out the product, you can get the product through the Medicube Global Online Store or through Amazon!
